A Day on the Water

Schedule an exciting white water rafting trip including transportation to and from the river with a hot, grilled lunch served to you on the shores of the river.

Rent a kayak or canoe from one of the area outfitters and spend the day or just a few hours paddling amid the unspoiled beauty of Moosehead Lake and its surrounding lakes.  There are several different excursions to choose from.  You may simply ‘put in’ on Moosehead Lake directly across from the outfitter’s location and paddle along the shores of Moosehead Lake.  Or, you may pick up life vests, oars and keys and drive to a remote lake where your canoe awaits you.  Or, better yet, the outfitter will transport you to a drop off location and then pick you up at day’s end.  Guided canoe/kayak trips can also be arranged.

Spend a day on Moosehead Lake in a speed boat.  Feel free to have us reserve jet skis, a pontoon boat or  an outboard fishing boats. If you’d prefer to be ‘chauferred’ we can arrange a privately escorted speed boat tour of the lake which includes a visit to Mt. Kineo and/or a stop for lunch at a local lakeside restaurant.  Reservations at least 2 weeks in advance are recommended.

There are so many fishing options for you to enjoy.  Head out with a guide and fly fish one of our rushing rivers, schedule a trip aboard one of the area’s guided fishing boats to pole fish out on Moosehead Lake, or simply rent equipment and head out on your own.  No matter what your experience level there are ½ day and full day excursions awaiting you.
